In addition to our mission-critical support and MEDITECH VPN (Virtual Private Network) secure connectivity services, JJWild now offers proactive managed care services to help you optimize and maintain your MEDITECH environment.
To operate at peak efficiency, Storage Area Networks (SANs) require maintenance and updating. Getting an accurate picture of SAN components and performance on a proactive basis can identify problems in advance and eliminate costly downtime. Our MEDITECH expertise allows us to assess your SAN environment with a unique perspective.
JJWild's SAN Health Check service provides a picture-in-time snapshot of the SAN to assess performance, identify software and firmware versions, and review the current SAN configuration and topology. Via the SAN Health Check service, JJWild's Technical Support Engineers provide comprehensive recommendations for updates and improvements to help you optimize your SAN environment.
JJWild's Host Refresh service is performed after a SAN Health Check has been conducted and areas of improvement and required upgrades have been identified. A JJWild Engineer provides remote installation services via your MEDITECH VPN connection to complete software and firmware upgrades to comply with best practices.

Discovery Process
Information is gathered about the SAN environment and host information is extracted for analysis.
Performance Assessment
Data and performance is evaluated and compared against benchmarks to assess areas requiring improvement.
Documentation and Recommendations
A written SAN Health Report including a detailed diagram of the current SAN topology, updated SAN documentation, and a SAN Optimization Plan is delivered in addition to establish a plan for implementing improvements
SAN Host Refresh Highlights
SAN Health Check Review
A JJWild Support Engineer will review the current versions of the SAN host-based software detailed in the SAN Health Report and prepare the recommended upgrades indicated in the Optimization Plan.
Software Upgrades
JJWild supplies the latest tested versions of MEDITECH-compliant SAN host-based software, and performs the upgrade remotely. The Support Engineer will also work with your hardware vendor to coordinate upgrades when necessary.
Documentation
A customized Host Refresh Document will summarize the upgrades and record software versions.
